Tequio is a word in Náhuatl meaning “the act of giving and sharing for a collective benefit.” The project was inspired by this concept, working in conjunction with the design firm Thirst of Chicago. The designed pieces are the result of a reflection on humankind’s impact on the environment and climate change, generating three-dimensional graphics that represent the Accumulated Cyclonic Energy (ACE) of the last century.
